Annual Christopher J. Morrissey Foundation Benefit
entitled "HEART & SOUL"
HEART & SOUL was the motto for our first benefit. And boy did we have plenty of that! 350 plus guests came to show their support, love, HEART & SOUL! We were truly humbled and amazed. To have so many there to honor and celebrate Christopher, his memory, and our goal to fulfill his legacy was truly inspirational.
We would like to thank each and every one of YOU for your overwhelming support. We are grateful you took the time to be an integral part of this event. We felt the love ....truly! It is obvious to us how well-loved our Christopher is which was seen by the number of people in attendance, and for those who could not attend, by their generous donations.
A special thanks to Joe Gillies for serving as our Master of Ceremonies for that evening. Joe has been a special friend to our family for over 13 years as we watched our boys grow into the wonderful young men they are today. Not only was Joe our Master of Ceremonies, he was also VIRGIN VINYLíS amazing drummer!! So, we truly got to enjoy Joeís talents the entire evening......Joe was assisted by Don Neill, Ralph Rotando, and Jack Gailing....whom all did an AMAZING job on the mike! Thank you guys!
Three cheers for the FOUNDATION COMMITTEE members who stepped up to volunteer their time, expertise and experience, share their ideas, and sometimes just lend a helping hand by serving on one of our Committees. These unsung heroes worked tirelessly behind the scenes for the Foundation providing assistance to the wherever they were needed. We applaud each one of their efforts and cannot thank them enough for being the village that built this Foundation!

Christopher's 1st Angelversary
On April 5, 2012 we held Chris's First Angelversary Remembrance at St. William the Abbot Church, Howell. It was a beautiful mass and an even more beautiful ceremony afterward. We held a candle lighting ceremony and a balloon release in which everyone participated. We surrounded each other with love and affection. We also felt the love and warmth of those who were here in spirit, our angels.....for they were there...each and every one of them as they will be always........

Our Heart and Soul
There are no words of comfort since you left us. We only have photos, "freeze frames", that remind us of how it was when you were here. Each day, your smile reminds us of your remarkable love and passion for life. The pain and ache in our hearts is a constant reminder of how much we miss you. We know you are proud of the many wonderful people making a difference in the lives of others through your Foundation and how proud you are of your only brother, Nick. You are with us always...... forever in our hearts. We learned so much from you, Chris, but you forgot to teach us one last thing........how to let you go.
Until we are together again....
Mom, Dad, Nick
All your family, friends, and "Cody"
